Rosemary - Herb Of Remembrance

Rosemary tidbits:

Magickal name - elf leaf

Called the herb of remembrance, rosemary is used to enhance memory.


Vibrations- powerfully protective and healing. Rosemary is said to repel thieves. An infusion of rosemary is used to wash hands prior to performing mystical-magickal healing work.

Rosemary is also used:

- to dispel despression, promote healing & preserve youthfulness

- to prevent nightmares and to promote a good night's sleep

- in purification rituals and to banish negativity

It's interesting that scientists have now decided that rosemary is now "the brain herb". Unfortunately they are of course isolating the "active ingredient" and making drugs out of it, ignoring the natural herbal resonances that do not depend on the active ingredient but more on the planetary rulership, time of picking, method of preparation etc etc. Stuart A. Lipton, M.D., Ph.D. is the senior author of the published papers. His pioneering work developing drugs to protect the brain was recognized with Germany's Ernst Jung Prize in Medicine in 2004.
