YULE LOG Winter Solstice Berry Red Soy Pillar Votive Candles w/ Juniper Leaves, Bayberry, Apple & Sweet Spices

ג' בחשון תשע"ב
Phasma Priscus 6

The Olde European custom of burning the YULE LOG as part of the Winter Solstice celebrations was considered a protective talismanic rite in rural Britain. Originating in Germanic paganism prior to the Christianisation of Germany, the YULE LOG is also known as the Yule Clog (north-east of England), Yule Block (Midlands and West Country of England) and Gule Block (Cornwall). In Wales, the Yule Log is known as Y Bloccyn Gwylian, meaning "the Festival Block." In Ireland, it is known as Bloc na Nollaig; in Scotland, Yeel Carline; and in Germany, Weihnachtsscheit.

Handcrafted with premium certified kosher soy wax and pure cotton wick, these lovely YULE LOG berry red pillar votive candles are generously scented with the seasonal aroma of Bayberry, Apple & warm spices. Herbally charged with Juniper leaf tips, each gorgeous pillar is dusted with Candy Apple fairy shimmer.

This listing is for a set of 3 straight pillar soy votives.

Each votive measures 2" tall.
