WINTER MAGIC WASSAIL Winte Solstice Ritual Oil

ט׳ בחשון תשע"ב
Phasma Priscus 12

Wassailing, the traditional Olde English Twelfth Night custom to sing and drink to the health of highly symbolic Apple trees, is done to drive away evil spirits from the village's Apple orchards and to ensure a good harvest of cider apples for next year's harvest.

As a beverage associated with Yule, Wassail (also called Hot Toddy) is a mulled ale, punch, wine or fruit juice made with sugar, cinnamon, ginger, fruits, honey, allspice and nutmeg, and traditionally often topped with slices of toast (as sops).

Wassail also refers to the salute 'Waes Hail', the term itself is a contraction of the Middle English phrase wæs hæil, meaning literally 'good health' or 'be you healthy'.

Handcrafted with certified organic ingredients, this lovely mulled WINTER MAGIC WASSAIL ritual oil is generously scented with the seasonal aroma of holiday Yuletide Wassail. Herbally charged with traditional Wassail mulling spices, fruits and honey, the 3ml wax sealed glass spell bottle is adorned with handmade Mulled Spice silk sari ribbon and soft brown sheer organdy ribbon.
