MORGAINE Witch of Avalon Pillar Candle w/ Filigree Moon Crescent, Black Lace for Celtic Druid Magic, High Priestess, Goddess, Lunar Alchemy

Morgaine Pillar Candle

Capable of second sight and transfiguration, MORGAINE (also known as Morgen Le Fay and Morgana) is the witch queen and high priestess of mystical Avalon, the wondrous Isle of the Blessed in Celtic Druid folk tradition.

As her epithet "le Fay" (from the French la fée, meaning fairy) indicates, the figure of Morgaine appears to have been originally a supernatural being. Her main name could be connected to the myths of Morgens, or Morgans or Mari-Morgans, which are Welsh and Breton water spirits. While later works make her specifically human, she retains her magical powers. Inspiration for her character likely came from earlier Welsh mythology and literature; she has been compared with the goddess Modron, a figure derived from the continental Dea Matrona and featured with some frequency in medieval Welsh literature.

Evoke the power of the Celtic Witch Queen with this stunning seagreen blue MORGAINE Pillar Candle handcrafted with premium all natural paraffin wax and pure cotton wick. Herb charged with Black Mallow petals, MORGAINE is generously scented with a magical blend of Sea Moss, Bergamot, Orchid, Jasmine, Violet, Ozone, Musk and more. MORGAINE is adorned with blue vintage German glass glitter and a bronze filigree Goddess Crescent Moon hung on luscious black lace.
