OAK ASH and THORN Leaves from the UK

כ׳ בטבת תשע"א
Grael 23

Of all the trees that grow so fair,
Old England to adorn,
Greater are none beneath the Sun,
Than Oak, and Ash, and Thorn.
Sing Oak, and Ash, and Thorn, good sirs,
(All of a Midsummer morn!)
Surely we sing no little thing,
In Oak, and Ash, and Thorn! ... [Rudyard Kipling, A Tree Song]

A potent triple combination, OAK ASH and THORN, have long been associated with Celtic Druid magic. Symbolic of a balanced life and strength, Oak also acts as a liminal gateway to the Otherworld. The pole of witches' brooms are traditionally made from the wood of an Ash tree, the tree from which humanity was created according to Norse paganism. The Hawthorne tree must never be felled - to do so will anger the Faeries and turn them powerfully against you.

Sacred to the Fae and other nature spirits, the OAK ASH and THORN triad of trees is called the Faery Triad. Celtic folklore teaches that "where oak and ash and thorn grow together one is likely to see Fairies."

This blend of OAK ASH and THORN comes to you in a 10 ml black capped plastic jar.

Comes beautifully packaged.

This magical blend may be purchased at WITCHCRAFTS by Liorah Lleucu.
