Extraordinary magic flows through it ... for that extra special Samhain night.
After making this MYSTERIES of SAMHAIN Ritual Kit, still within my sacred space I reached in and drew out one of the handcrafted Applewood Runes from my Runebag - that Rune was Othala.
Othala is a symbol of all that is inherited through one's Ancestors, including material property, homeland, spiritual qualities and magical tradition. Edred Thorsson writes of the Othala Force, "Othala is the mystery of the Fylgia as a spiritual source of magical power, which results from the virtuous deeds of past generations as runic imprints into the genetic code of the descendants ...
